The Fox Faith and Service Partners (FSP) of Penn’s Fox Leadership Program effects meaningful, problem-solving partnerships between Penn faculty, staff, students, alumni, and leaders and citizens affiliated with diverse faith-based communities, locally, nationally, and, with the dawn of the Fox Leadership International program in 2015, internationally.
In collaboration with FSP, PRRUCS co-sponsors various fellowships for Penn undergraduates and recent Penn alumni (post-doctoral, doctoral, masters, or bachelors): summer fellowships; semester fellowships; service-learning project fellowships with both local and national religious nonprofit organizations; research or service positions with selected PRRUCS faculty and affiliates; and fellowships with both Penn and non-Penn PRRUCS partner organizations.
Starting in 2017, a dozen of the FSP Fellows will be selected, supervised, and supported as Perry Family Research and Service Fellows. Each year via PRRUCS, Perry Family Assistant Director Dr. Daniel Cheely, working in concert with Joseph P. Tierney, Executive Director of the Robert A. Fox Leadership Program (Fox), and Euria Chung, Associate Director of Operations of Fox, will develop and support a dozen undergraduates and recent graduates in paid fellowships supervised by designated PS4P-affiliated scholars or senior fellows—ten summer, fall semester, or spring semester fellowships for undergraduates, and two extended-term (6 months to a year) for alumni.
